Almost 80% of Ukrainians in Poland are working or looking for work,

The percentage of Ukrainian citizens who declare their intention to settle in Poland permanently is not growing.

The share of people working or looking for work among Ukrainian citizens in Poland in 2024 is 78% and higher than among Polish citizens, reports the EWL Migration Platform, citing a study by the National Bank of Poland.

Experts note the high professional activity of Ukrainians in the Polish labor market.

Work is the main source of income for Ukrainians in Poland, as well as a factor contributing to their long stay. About half of the respondents (both pre-war migrants and war refugees) say that this is an opportunity to support themselves and their families. Also among the reasons to stay…
