In Bashkortostan, they opened fire on a Russian An-2 multi-purpose aircraft, mistaking it for a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle.
According to the Russian Telegram channel Astra, the incident occurred in the city of Salavat. Local authorities sounded an air raid warning when the plane flew into a “restricted area.” Security guards at the Gazprom oil refinery opened fire on him.
In videos published online, you can see the An-2 flying in the sky over one of the objects. Eyewitnesses also filmed the moment when they started shooting at the plane. One of them says that the aircraft was caught.
