He never pleaded guilty, but he was punished.
A man in the UK has been fined after his noisy pet rooster “tortured” neighbors in a quiet street by crowing constantly at 3am.

Harold Brown, 80, was taken to court over an “annoying” bird that crowed once a minute for an hour and a half after residents complained about the incessant “crowling” recorded by environmental officers.
Brown claimed in court that the sound sounded more like a “croak” than the traditional crowing of a rooster, but six of his neighbors in a housing estate on the outskirts of the New Forest in Hampshire complained.
