An artillery shell sticking out of the ground was discovered in the Urzhum region on December 5

In the Kirov region, sappers had to neutralize the ammunition on the spot. The details were shared by the press service of the regional department of the Russian Guard.

Reportedly, residents of the village of Donaurovo, Urzhum district, found a suspicious object sticking out of the ground on the bank of the Vyatka River. Specialists from the Russian National Guard were called to the scene.

A special demining team had to act because a 76-mm artillery shell was found in the ground, seriously damaged by corrosion. It was unsafe to transport it.

For this reason, the ammunition was destroyed at the scene of discovery using an overhead charge. Previously, specialists ensured that the necessary precautions were observed.
