An extreme tourist visits different countries every weekend without spending a penny on accommodation
The budget traveler says that day trips abroad are “a different way to travel.”
The traveler bragged about visiting a new country every weekend for little money. He even visited Switzerland to spend an hour in the mountains.

Luke Simmonds became interested in travel after the pandemic when he came across a Facebook group sharing experiences of extreme day trips. Deciding to try short trips, the 35-year-old flew to Italy, Poland, Lithuania, Switzerland and France over five weekends in September and October to see Mont Blanc.
An IT consultant from England says: “It gets addictive after a while. You can go anywhere for a day and have plenty to keep you occupied. It's a really good way to try new places – if you like a place, you can go back.”
