If the tariff of the “Operator of the Gas Transmission System of Ukraine” for gas transportation increases, the industry will be forced to increase the cost of its products. This was stated by the executive director of the Association of Gas Producing Companies of Ukraine Artem Petrenko.

“The increase in tariffs will primarily affect the cost of gas in the commercial segment, that is, for industry. Industry will be forced to increase the cost of its products that it produces, which are also purchased by household consumers, that is, the population of Ukraine,” he said commenting on the possible increase in gas transportation tariffs by almost 5 times.
