An overpass was built on the Southern Bypass: opinions of Kirov residents

On Monday, November 18, an overhead pedestrian crossing was opened on the Southern Bypass of Kirov near the village of Chirki. Construction of the facility began in the summer, the cost of the project was 70 million rubles. This is the second overpass in the city. The first one was opened in 2012 on Lenin Street.

When constructing overpasses, designers do not think at all about people with disabilities, people with limited mobility, elderly people, and families with children. There is also a problem with the crossing on Lenin Street. Our organization has been negotiating with the city administration since 2022.
