In the match of the first stage of the quarterfinals Paths of the regions of the Russian Cup Yaroslavl “Shinnik“played at home against Togliatti”Akron“, reports Sports.kz.
The meeting ended with a minimal victory for the guests with a score of 1:0. The only goal in the match was scored in the 47th second, when Shinnik midfielder Artyom Malakhov sent the ball into his own goal. Akron went into the break with a lead that it held until the final whistle.
Let us note that Shinnik still has Kazakhstan national team defender Lev Skvortsov in reserve.
Thanks to this victory, Akron advanced to the second stage of the quarterfinals of the Path of Regions of the Russian Cup. Shinnik finished its performance in the tournament.
