The deputy chief physician of the Central Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC) was detained while receiving illegal benefits. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, the deputy chief physician promised for $2,000 to assist a citizen liable for military service in obtaining group II disability. “This would provide grounds for removing him from the military register. She convinced the man that this was not the first time she had resolved such “issues” and knew how to do it,” the report said.
Law enforcement officers detained the official while receiving money.
She was informed of suspicion of abuse of influence (Part 3, p. 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
