Deputy head of the Federal Mediation Center Vladimir Kuznetsov said that a strict ban was introduced only in regions near the border with Ukraine. In other regions of the Russian Federation, restrictions are less stringent.

Administrative liability for violation
A seller of pyrotechnics may be fined up to 40 thousand rubles for violating a regional ban. The use of pyrotechnics in violation of the ban entails a fine of up to 50 thousand rubles for violating fire safety.
