26-year-old Sabalenka ended the year as the world leader for the first time in her career. Previously, her best finishing position at the end of the season was second place in 2021 and 2023. In 2024, Aryna Sabalenka won two Grand Slam tournaments – the Australian Open and the US Open. In total, the Belarusian won four WTA titles and took part in the final matches three more times.
