The wife of ousted Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad has suffered a relapse of leukemia. Doctors assessed Asma al-Assad's chances of survival as “50/50”, The Telegraph reports.
According to the publication, Assad's British wife is now in isolation to prevent infection. Sources told reporters that her father, Fawaz Akhras, was caring for his daughter in Moscow and he was “heartbroken.”
