Assistance to Ukraine – The NATO Parliamentary Assembly made an important decision – UNIAN
China poses numerous and systemic challenges to Euro-Atlantic security, the Alliance believes.
The NATO Parliamentary Assembly adopted a resolution on assistance to Ukraine, which, in particular, provides for the provision of medium-range missiles (from 1,000 to 5,500 kilometers) to Kyiv, including the Tomahawk type.
The resolution also states that the Ukrainian side is given permission to strike Russian military targets with provided weapons.
The Alliance also made a number of promises to Ukraine:
- Create a NATO Security and Training Assistance for Ukraine (NSATU) program.
- Create the NATO-Ukraine Joint Analysis, Training and Education Center (JATEC).
