ATACMS — NYT stocks are running out in Ukraine

Ukraine launched several missile strikes against the Russian Federation, using at least 31 ATACMS and 14 Storm Shadows.

The Defense Forces of Ukraine are running out of stocks of long-range missiles provided by the United States and Great Britain. There is virtually no hope that the Trump administration will approve new supplies.

After receiving permission to launch long-range missile strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation in November, Ukraine carried out several successful attacks on military facilities in Russia, but already a month later the number of such attacks has significantly decreased.

According to senior NATO officials, Western long-range weapons could not turn the tide of the war in favor of Ukraine. The strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation also did not lead to an escalation of hostilities, as some feared.
