Attackers persuaded a Kirov pensioner to set fire to a bank

A 78-year-old Kirov woman was forced by scammers to start a fire in a bank. This was reported to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In Kirov, a pensioner who had previously encountered fraud was instructed by attackers to set fire to pyrotechnics in one of the bank branches. Despite the psychological pressure, the woman realized that her actions could be dangerous to others. She refused to set fireworks on fire either indoors or near parked cars.

According to the Department of Internal Affairs for the Kirov Region, a number of crimes have been recorded in a number of regions related to attempts to set fire to administrative buildings and police cars, and to destabilize the work of banking and postal institutions.
