Australian air carrier creates the longest flight – UNIAN

We worked on the development of this project for almost seven years.

Australia's national airline Qantas is working to create the world's longest flight, which will last more than 19 hours.

According to The Independent, the company will have a non-stop flight from Sydney to London and New York. The flights will be carried out on Airbus A350 airliners, which should arrive by mid-2026. Qantas expects this will make the “tyranny of distance” a thing of the past.

It is known that the planes will be able to carry about 238 passengers. First class ticket holders will receive an extra-wide fixed bed, a recliner chair, a personal closet, a 32-inch TV and a dining/work desk for two.
