Austrian OMV terminated the contract with Gazprom, valid until 2040 – UNIAN

The Austrian company OMV has terminated its gas supply contract with Gazprom Export, a subsidiary of the Russian giant Gazprom.
This was reported in an OMV press release issued on December 11. It is noted that the contract was signed in 2006 and was supposed to be valid until 2040. It was terminated due to “numerous significant violations” on the part of the Russian company.
