Azerbaijan has limited the stay of citizens of Russia.
Russians will now not be able to stay in the country for more than 90 days during one calendar year. This was a response to a similar decision of the Russian government regarding foreigners without visas, which also applied to citizens of Azerbaijan.

“Citizens of Russia and stateless persons who permanently reside in the Russian Federation and arrive in the Republic of Azerbaijan without a visa cannot stay in the country for more than 90 days during one calendar year,” the resolution reads.
It will be recalled that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated that photos and videos from the crash site of the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane, which crashed on the territory of Kazakhstan on December 25, eloquently testify to Russia's responsibility for the tragedy.
