Azerbaijan tightens the rules for the stay of Russians in the country – what is known – Politics
Baku will make a decision in response to the actions of the Russian Federation against the citizens of Azerbaijan.
In response to the introduction in the Russian Federation of stricter requirements related to the periods of stay of foreign citizens in the country, Baku is preparing countermeasures, primarily in the context of the rights of citizens of Azerbaijan.
APA.az writes about this with reference to the statement of the press secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Ayhan Hajizadeh.
The head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that Azerbaijan's foreign policy in all matters, including migration, “will be based on the principles of parity and reciprocity.” Therefore, in the near future, the government plans to make changes to the rules for the temporary stay of Russian citizens on the territory of Azerbaijan.
