Baked turkey for Christmas – a simple recipe from Merry Berry – UNIAN
This dish is enough to feed the whole family and even guests.
Roast turkey can be the centerpiece of your Christmas table. To prepare it according to Mary Berry's recipe, you will need only 8 ingredients.
As Ehrges writes, it can be prepared 12 hours before the festive dinner. For roast with lemon and thyme you need:
- turkey 6 kg
- butter – 75 g;
- lemon – 1 pc.
- thyme – 3 sprigs;
- onions – 2 pcs;
- bay leaf – 6 pcs;
- sage – bunch;
- salt.
You will also need a meat thermometer and cooking string.
To start, preheat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas four. Remove the skin from the turkey breast by inserting your fingers between the meat and the skin at the end of the neck, leaving the skin attached at the end of the cavity.
