Barhylevych answered why the operation in Kurshchyna was necessary
The Chief of the General Staff explained what was really necessary to enter the territory of the Russian Federation.
The Russian occupiers planned to enter the territory of Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions by August 30 with the aim of creating a buffer zone along the border. Therefore, the Kursk operation became a preventive measure to overtake.
