Detroit: Become Human co-writer Adam Williams announced the founding of his own studio, Republic Games, after nearly ten years at Quantic Dream.
Republic Games has already begun work on a dark RPG inspired by The Lord of the Rings and George Orwell's 1984. The project promises to combine elements of classic fantasy and dystopia, showing players a deep plot and ample choice.
The game's plot will focus on a faction of rebels seeking to overthrow a tyrannical regime by exposing the lies underlying its ideology. At the same time, the story will also contain supernatural elements that add depth to the game world.
