Biathlon Christmas race 2024 – results, how Ukraine performed — Sport

The Ukrainian team was represented by Yulia Dzyma and Dmytro Pidruchny.

On Saturday, December 28, the traditional annual event took place in Gelsenkirchen, Germany Christmas race with biathlon.

Ten teams took part in it, among which was national team of Ukrainefor which they stood Julia Jima and Dmytro Pidruchnyi.

The Christmas race consisted of two parts of a mixed relay – mass start and pursuit. The winners were determined by the results of the pursuit.

The Ukrainians finished the mass start in third place. The first was Norway, the second was France.

In the pursuit, the “blue-yellow” could not stay in the top three. The Ukrainian duet finished in seventh place.

Norwegians Karolin Knotten and Sturla Legreid won the Christmas race. The other two places on the podium were won by German couples: the second place was taken by Anna Weidel and Justus Strelow, and…
