Biathlon: Women's World Cup pursuit results in Hogfilzen


Khrystyna Dmytrenko demonstrated the best result among Ukrainian women in pursuit.

On Saturday, December 14, at the second stage Biathlon World Cup-2024/25 women's pursuit race was held in Hogfilzen, Austria.

Ukraine was represented in it by three biathletes – Khrystyna Dmytrenko (18th starting position according to the results sprint), Julia Jima (started 33rd) and Oleksandr Merkushin (started the race 51st).

The best result among Ukrainian women in the pursuit was shown by Dmytrenko, who finished 22nd with two errors. Thanks to perfect shooting, Jima gained eight positions compared to the sprint and took 25th place. Merkushina became the 59th, earning five penalty rounds.

The pursuit race was won by the Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmono, who started fourth. She was joined on the podium by the Germans – Vanessa finished second…
