On the morning of December 28, Asaubaeva had accumulated five and a half points after eight rounds played, which gives her 12th place in the competition table. On the second playing day of the 2024 World Cup, Bibisara played three games in a draw with Alexandra Maltsevskaya (Poland), Katerina Lagno (Russia) and Afruza Hamdava (Uzbekistan).
