Cash payments will begin in November. This proposal provides for a one-time compensation of 10 thousand rubles, which is available to both working and non-working pensioners. The details of the payment were explained by pension specialist Sergei Vlasov.

Vlasov noted that this payment is timed to coincide with an important event in people’s lives – the anniversary of family life, that is, their wedding anniversary. To be eligible for such financial assistance, spouses must celebrate a milestone in their marriage, starting with their 50th anniversary. It must be borne in mind that in order to receive the payment, the marriage must be formalized, and the couple’s life together must continue without interruption for half a century or longer.
