Bottles of 850 ml – in Ukraine they want to sell everything in liters – UNIAN
A bill on “full liter or kilogram” has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada.
Parliament will oblige traders to indicate the price for a full liter and kilogram of products, regardless of the volume of packaging.
Bill No. 12358 on amendments to the law “On the Protection of Consumer Rights” has been registered in the Verkhovna Rada. It talks about “improving consumer information on product prices with a view to implementing Directive 98/6/EC of the European Parliament and the European Council.”
The author of the bill, People's Deputy Dmitry Gurin, said that after the adoption of the changes, “all 850 ml bottles of milk will become a thing of the past.”
In particular, it is proposed to amend Art. 15 of the Law “On the Protection of Consumer Rights”, which guarantees the right to receive necessary and accessible information about products. So…
