The former British army commander always warned about the threats facing his country.
British soldiers and officers will be forced to fight a future war with “weak” supply lines and against an enemy who has more troops, equipment and modern technology. This opinion was expressed by the former head of the country's army, General Sir Patrick Sanders, writes The Times.
He says the UK is at a “tipping point” and is confident the future will be dangerous.
While still a serving general, Sanders noted in his last speech that the British army had never been superior in numbers or brilliant in equipment.
