British troops may go to Ukraine to train soldiers,
John Healy became the first government official to publicly support the move.
British Defense Minister John Healey “opened the door” to sending British troops to Ukraine to help train Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers. The minister made a corresponding statement during a visit to Kyiv, The Telegraph reports.
In particular, a government spokesman noted that Britain needs to “make training better suited to what Ukrainians need”:
“We need to make it easier for Ukrainians to access and work with Ukrainians to help them motivate and mobilize more recruits.”
