The Russian army struck the Dnieper with an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). The Air Force did not release details on the type of weapon. However, it is known that the enemy used a new missile. What kind of weapon is this – there are several versions.

Immediately after the impact, experts reported that it was a missile RS-26 “Rubizh”. The Air Force did not confirm this, but did not deny it either. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi confirmedthat Russia used a new missile that is an intercontinental ballistic weapon.

Later, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced that his army had launched an experimental hypersonic missile “Hazelnut”. However, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine stated that the missile attack was probably carried out from the missile complex “Cedar”.
