Most prisoners admit that they go to fight for money.
Over the past week, the 79th separate air assault brigade captured five Russian occupiers in the Kurakhovsky direction.
Roman Pisarenko, senior officer of the communications department of the 79th Special Airborne Assault Squadron, spoke about this during the telethon. According to him, three prisoners were taken one day, and two more the next day. “Some of them say that they signed the contract because they wanted to earn money, while others, they say, didn’t know and were forced,” he noted.
The serviceman noted that in the Russian army of aggression there are a lot of “conscientious objectors” who do not want to participate in hostilities. For example, one of the prisoners was sent to storm Ukrainian positions from the “punitive pit”:
“He sat in this pit for two days and they took him out, added him to the group and sent him on an assault. They didn’t…
