Carrot prices in Ukraine are rising again — Ukraine
Ukrainian carrot producers continue to raise prices for their products.
Since the beginning of the current week, the price of carrots has increased to UAH 23-30/kg ($0.55-0.71/kg), which is 15% more compared to last week.
This is reported by analysts of the EastFruit project.
Producers explain this by increasing demand from wholesale companies and retail chains, which actively purchase carrots for further sale.
The main growth factors are the reduction in the supply of substandard carrots, as supplies from unequipped warehouses have decreased significantly. Demand for quality products remains high, and some large farms are even holding back sales in anticipation of even greater price increases.
