The new game will be a reboot and will focus entirely on Ciri, now she is the main character. The trailer shows a typical story for the world of Neverland: a witcher arrived in a small settlement on Skellige, where, according to old traditions, a girl was chosen who was to become a victim of the monster from the cave.
Ciri dissuaded the girl from going to certain death and was able to kill the monster, but the local residents were unhappy with the violation of ancient customs and killed the victim themselves.
On the official website of CD Projekt RED it is written that The Witcher 4 will be the largest and most ambitious part of the series.
