Defensive midfielder “Chelsea» Romeo Lavia received another injury, Sports.kz reports with reference to Profootball.ua.
This is what caused his replacement in the derby with Tottenham (4:3), notes head coach of the Blues Enzo Maresca.
“Lavia has a hamstring problem, but he is fine now. We just don't want to take any chances in December. Sometimes it is better to change a player after 45 minutes than to leave him on the field and end up losing him for six matches,” Enzo Maresca told Sky Sports.
Let us add that Lavia recently recovered from injury. He is vying for a place in the Blues' starting lineup, but often ends up in the hospital. Romeo moved to the Chelsea camp from Southampton.
