Chinese exports to Russia collapsed in November, marking their first decline in four months. Reuters reports this with reference to Chinese customs data.

Compared to 2023, supplies to the Russian Federation in November decreased by 10.5%. Imports from Russia over the same period showed a fall of 7.4% in yuan terms, while in October the fall was 4.3%.

The Chinese customs department did not provide a breakdown of goods sold in the Russian Federation or purchased in Russia. Note that in October, Chinese exports to the Russian Federation increased by 24%, while in September the growth was almost 16%.
