The 2024 Game of the Year ceremony took place last night, with Playstation's Astro Bot winning. As it turned out, a large number of players, mainly from China, were dissatisfied with this result of the award; they believe that Black Myth: Wukong deserved the victory.
Most of the criticism from Chinese players fell on Larian Studios director Sven Vincke, as the person who announced the game of the year this time.
