The temporary investigative commission of the Verkhovna Rada on violations of the rights of servicemen considered appeals regarding extortion of money or abuse in 22 brigades. Such data were not confirmed in all cases
This was announced by People's Deputy Anna Skorokhod, who headed the parliamentary TSK, on the Svoboda Live channel.
She reported that the commission examined 22 such brigades during the period of activity of the TSK, and not only 211, where money was demanded from servicemen and where beatings or abuse were committed. However, such data were not confirmed in all cases.
Regarding those brigades where there was confirmation, criminal proceedings were opened and investigations were carried out.
