Ukraine's energy security remains one of the key priorities in the context of global challenges and war. The completion of the 3rd and 4th power units of the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant is not only a strategic goal, but also a vital step for the stable future of the country.

This was stated by the chairman of the board of JSC “Kyiv Scientific Research and Design Institute “Energoproekt” Yuriy Sapozhnikov, reports RBC-Ukraine with reference to “Apostrophe”.

Sites for power units are ready for further construction. The 3rd block has 75% construction readiness, and the 4th – 25%. The expert emphasized that the structures have already been tested and confirmed as reliable for the continuation of work. They will be able to serve at least 50 years after commissioning.
