Cryptocurrency in Ukraine – Fedorov revealed the potential of legalizing the cryptocurrency market – UNIAN
Ukraine generates 2.5% of global cryptocurrency traffic.
Legalization of the cryptocurrency market could bring Ukraine up to 15 billion hryvnia in budget revenues. Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov announced this on his Telegram page.
“If the crypto market were legalized, the state could receive about UAH 8.34 billion in taxes from crypto exchanges registered in Ukraine and up to another UAH 6.53 billion from taxation of citizens’ income for 2021-2024,” Fedorov noted.
