According to the results of the work of the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Verkhovna Rada, which was convened on the initiative of Yulia Tymoshenko, unreasonably inflated prices for medicines should be reduced.

“The meeting of the key players of the pharmaceutical market regarding unreasonably inflated drug prices, convened at the initiative of Yulia Tymoshenko, head of the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, ended yesterday,” the association noted.

It is noted that the initiatives introduced during the work of the commission will affect the demonopolization of the market and the lowering of the price of drugs in pharmacies. Among the main decisions: one distributor will have the right to purchase from manufacturers no more than 20% of one nomenclature item of drugs for sale in pharmacies.
