At a meeting of the State Duma, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said that in 2025 the minimum increase in pensions for Russian pensioners will be at least 1.3 thousand rubles thanks to the planned indexation. This was reported by TASS, and the broadcast of the meeting was available on the official website of the chamber. Golikova emphasized that the size of each citizen’s pension is calculated individually, based on his work experience, as well as other parameters, such as wages and insurance contributions. Indexation will begin on February 1, 2025, and its calculation will be based on collected statistics and approved economic indicators.
