Defense of Pokrovsk — the Bundeswehr predicted the development of events
According to the German general, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will have to surrender Pokrovsk in a few months.
According to the head of the Bundeswehr's special staff for Ukraine, Major General Christian Freuding, the Armed Forces will have to leave their positions in Pokrovsk already in December, and in the best case scenario – at the beginning of next year.
This was reported by the website of the German Ministry of Defense.
Freuding analyzed the events at the front in Ukraine and noted that the situation in the Pokrovsky direction is “extremely critical.” He also reminded that holding Pokrovsk is of great importance for further hostilities, because the city is an important transport hub. But the Ukrainian units will still have to surrender it to the enemy in order to save the lives of the soldiers.
