“Demobilization is not a topic for PR”: Zhorin called for an end to manipulations
The military officer noted that nominally obliging military personnel to take vacations in the event of a shortage of soldiers only complicates the situation.
The issue of demobilization in Ukraine should not be a topic for populist statements, PR and manipulation.
This opinion was expressed by the deputy commander of the 3rd separate assault brigade Maksym Zhorin.
“Everyone wants to know when the demobilization will take place. But, unfortunately, no one knows when the war will end. Such large-scale hostilities, the offensive of the Russian Federation in absolutely all directions, plus the failed mobilization since 2022 do not make it possible to establish specific terms of service now. Therefore first of all, the issue of rotations and restoration of units must be resolved,” the military man wrote on his Telegram channel.
