Denis Shmygal – teachers' salaries will increase from 2025 – UNIAN
From September the additional payment will be 2 thousand hryvnia.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal said that from January 1, 2025, a monthly “teacher’s supplement” in the amount of 1 thousand hryvnia will be introduced.
Shmygal stated this in his Telegram in Odessa, during an off-site regional meeting of the Government of Ukraine.
“Today, in pursuance of the instructions of the President of Ukraine, we are making an important decision in support of our teachers. From January 1, 2025, we are introducing a monthly “teacher supplement” to teachers’ salaries in the amount of 1,000 UAH “in hand.” From September 1, this payment will be increased to two thousand hryvnia for each teacher,” Shmygal emphasized.
