Despite the war, Ukrainian metallurgy has potential for recovery — Money
Before the start of the full-scale invasion, the share of the metallurgical sector accounted for about 10-12% of Ukraine's GDP, the country was in the TOP 10 world producers.
However, with the beginning of the war, Ukrainian metallurgy suffered significant losses. According to the government, more than 50% of metallurgical enterprises were either destroyed or occupied. Restoring the importance of Ukrainian metallurgy in the world will require more flexible and modern approaches. General Director of VARTIS Roman Anzin told about this in his column.
