The Russian Federation stated that the transfer of such weapons would be equated to an accomplished attack.
Russia erupted into threats in response to information about the hypothetical possibility of Ukraine receiving nuclear weapons from the United States – Moscow is ready to regard the mere potential possibility of such a step as preparation for a nuclear conflict with the Russian Federation, and the transfer of weapons as an attack.
The corresponding statement was made by the former President of the Russian Federation and current Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in his Telegram channel.
