According to Pendzin, the hryvnia “will devalue quite steadily.”
At the end of 2025, the dollar to hryvnia exchange rate will be 47-47.5 UAH/USD. This forecast was given by the executive director of the Economic Discussion Club Oleg Pendzin during the telethon.
He recalled that the government in the state budget for 2025 included an average annual exchange rate of 45 hryvnia per dollar.
“If we start the year at 42 hryvnia per dollar, and this is probably how it will be, then we will probably end the year at 47, 47.5 hryvnia per dollar. Well, in order to reach the annual average of 45,” – the expert explained.
At the same time, according to Pendzin, the National Bank may introduce certain adjustments, “there may even be reductions in price to some extent”:
