Dollar exchange rate in Ukraine – exchange rates for December 2024
The overall growth of the dollar in December could range from 0.2% to 0.8%.
The head of the treasury department of Globus Bank, Taras Lesovoy, in a commentary to UNIAN, said whether we should expect the dollar to rise in price at the end of the year, in December.
“Right now, most expectations for December can be characterized by the “bookmakers’ style,” because the main question that worries the majority is quite irrational: will the dollar exchange rate rise to UAH 42,” says the expert.
According to the banker, the situation in the first month of winter will not be fundamentally different from the autumn: the impact of inflation will be “smoothed out,” although at the official level it has already been announced that annual inflation has accelerated to 10%, and the possible increased demand for currency will be overcome by active interventions. ..
