The occupiers sentenced a 20-year-old man from Mariupol to 11 years in prison.

This was reported by the Mariupol City Council.

“The so-called “court of the People's Republic of Ukraine” sentenced 20-year-old resident of Mariupol Mykhailo Karimov. The boy was accused of “espionage for the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine,” the report says.

According to the occupation investigators, Mykhailo Karimov, in the period from December 2022 to June 2023, allegedly collected and transmitted to the Ukrainian GUR information about the places of deployment and movement of Russians. The occupiers also stated that the resident of Mariupol also allegedly purchased and illegally stored ammunition.

The pseudo-court handed down a sentence of 11 years of imprisonment with serving the sentence in a high-security penitentiary.
