The Verkhovna Rada granted the right to be released to those whose illegitimate relatives died or went missing while participating in hostilities (No. 11531). 308 deputies voted “for”.
People's deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko wrote about it.
“This is my draft law. I have been trying to get it passed for a long time!”, Honcharenko emphasized.
He added that in the summer parliament voted another law to grant a reprieve for relatives whose half-brothers or sisters were killed or missing in war. Now liberation was achieved.
